If you're running MacOS 8.5 or above, you're in for a treat! Attaching this Folder Action to a folder causes any files that are dropped into the folder to automatically upload.
The benefit? Say you maintain a web site that you design on your Mac and upload to a remote server. Simply create a new folder on your desktop, attach this Folder Action to the new folder, and open the folder. Then, create your web site graphics and text files in the applications of your choosing. When you save out the file to the newly created folder, it will automatically upload to your web server!
Because this Folder Action is written in AppleScript, some familiarity with AppleScript is recommended but not required. We encourage you to edit the script to do your bidding — perhaps you'd like to hard-code your server information so you don't have to type it in every time? Or make multiple action scripts for multiple servers that you use?

Installing This Folder Action
• Create a new folder.
• Option-click on the folder icon, bringing up the contextual menu.
• Choose "Attach a Folder Action..." from the contextual menu.
• Select the "add - upload files" action in this folder.
• That's it! You should see a small AppleScript logo in the corner of the folder icon.
• Remember that the folder must be open in order for the Folder Action to activate.
